end of the year meme 2012
Dec. 31st, 2012 07:22 pmI nearly forgot to do this one. Thankfully, something jogged my memory.
A Song of Ice & Fire
Overlapping Shadows
The Avengers
Sink, Swim
The Chronicles of Narnia
the dreams of tomorrows past
the rapport between water and sand
Crossover - Pokemon/Naruto
two fragments (at the edge of the world) Chapter Three
Final Fantasy X
dawn goes down to day
Hakuoki
Wet, Black Boughs
Pokemon
Unclouded Skies
currently-anonymous-pokeficexchange-fic (added later: From Another's Hands)
Tales of Vesperia
what dreams may come
Thor (2011)
all but the reason why
Tortall
Crossroads
Yu Yu Hakusho
I Want To Know the Shape Your Shadow Makes
never lost, only hidden
the teeth behind that smile
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Less. It's better than last year, but I should have written more.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2012?
I just discovered Hakuoki this year, so there's that, but... I think The Avengers is a better choice. I didn't even want to see the movie, as I've never been too interested in comics or adaptations of comics. I still can't quite believe how hard I fell for the fandom once I did watch it, haha.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.
Most Fun To Write: None really jump out at me. Perhaps the dreams of tomorrows past, if I had to choose?
Favorite To Read: Overlapping Shadows, all but the reason why, and Crossroads, probably.
Greatest Sense Of Accomplishment: Overlapping Shadows, definitely. I put quite a bit of work into that one.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
I hate to say this, but I can't think of anything in particular. =/ There were definitely some stories that were difficult to write, but I can't think of any specific risks I took.
Do you have any fanfic or profilic goals for the new year?
Not especially. All I have is my usual desire to write more in the new year.
