She hates every bit of this man, with his cold gaze and smooth movements. She hates how certain he is, she hates that fiery red hair. She hates how it was he who was once Orochimaru's partner, how it was he, she was, in essence, replaced with.

Most of all, she hates that infuriating dances he plays. The electric blue of his chakra, the fluid movements of his puppets, she hates every bit of it.

She hates how she let her guard down, how those very strings pull her to him. She hates how he takes her hand, and looks up at her with an unreadable expression in his eyes, and expression she writes off wrongly as mocking.

Yet, even more then she hates him, even more then she hates all of this, she hates the shivers running down her spine as their skin makes contact.
